I actually can’t tolerate anyone who sympathizes with Griffith after he raped Casca. It’s not morally right to sympathize or feel sorry for a rapist. Its down right sickening.
I have to agree with this. I wish he was already written out (killed painfully) of the story, he is a waste of time
Huh. I’ve seen a lot of stupid-Berserk related comments in my time (really, a lot, I moderate a Berserk forum for Christ’s sake) but I think this one, actually, genuinely, takes the cake.
“I wish Griffith was written out of the story?” He’s a “waste of time”?
He’s the driving force for just about everything major that has happened in the plot.
As a fellow Berserk forum moderator, I second this sentiment.
….i promised i’d swear myself off of berserk confessions but i have to reblog this for posterity.
yes, the MAIN ANTAGONIST should be written out of the story because he did a bad thing, as antagonists are prone to do. wow.
not even touching the morality thing just. yeah. shall we also get rid of guts since he nearly raped her too? he certainly doesn’t deserve to be in the story after that.
Sure, why not.
After that, we can get rid of Farnese because of all those human and animal burnings. What a waste she is.
It’ll be the adventures of Schierke, Serpico, Isidro and some fairies on a boat singing happy songs.
(Assuming we don’t get any flashbacks revealing they did something bad at some point, in which case they also have to go.)
eta: also all the apostles have to go, look at them, they all committed a sacrifice, right? so no villains either. ever. wastes of time, all of them.
I guess this way too strong reaction to the main villain just goes to prove how well the whole thing is written.
